How to get to Florence Italy

Reach by car:
Higway A11 (Firenze-mare): way out uscita Firenze Nord.

Higway A1 (arriving from Milano/Bologna or Napoli/Roma): way out (uscita) Firenze Nord

keep going on viale Guidoni and viale Redi following the indications for the city center, in direction of Porta al Prato.

Reach by train:
The railway station Santa Maria Novella is far 1 km about from the exhibition area. See www.trenitalia.it

Reach by plane:
Amerigo Vespucci Airport in Florence. It is far 6 km about and trough Lazzi/Cap/Sita lines, you can reach the Stazione Leopolda in 15/20 minutes about. The public transportation system of the city of Florence (ATAF) offers a special and frequent bus line from and to Florence Airport. It is a 25 minutes ride by shuttle bus, called Vola in bus , operating between the airport and the central railway station. Tickets can be bought on board or in advance in any newspaper stand. The price per person is € 6.00 (one way) or € 10 (return ticket)

The airport most used by all of Europe is Pisa's "Galileo Galilei" (PSA), where almost all the "low cost" flights arrive. There's a shuttle service that brings you to Florence in 70 minutes. Be careful however: traffic can be truly intense on the motorway between Florence and Pisa thus creating the possibility of being late and missing your flight!  Probably the best solution is to reach Florence by train, using the airport station. The terminal is also directly connected to Pisa Central Station by direct train service, with many trains to the Pisa central station and with eight trains a day from the Pisa airport to the main Florence train station. The railway terminal is located just outside the departures hall. You can also reach the center of Pisa with bus or taxi service.

The third airport is that of Bologna, about an hour's drive away. Again, be careful because some "low cost" airlines, when they say Bologna they actually mean the airport at Forlì - and that's really far away! Then find Bologna-Florence shuttle bus service
